Jim Callis of MLBPipeline.com joined the Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn. First thing Scott asked was is the Orioles farm system as week as most make it out to be. Jim thinks that they may be on the upswing. “I do think that they are getting a little deeper I did like they’re draft. I still think when you look at the system its the big two of Bundy Gausman whatever order you want to put them in. Then they kind of have the second wave of Eduardo Rodriguez, Hunter Harvey and Jonathon Schoop. Then maybe it falls off a little bit but I think that they are getting better and they are building depth.”
They also asked what the ceiling could be for Eduardo Rodriguez. “They’re both very good. Eduardo Rodriguez I don’t think his ceiling is as high as Bundy, Gausman and Hunter Harvey.But what he is is a left hander with three solid pitches that throws strikes hes performed. I think he is more that real good middle of the rotation, number three or four starter.”
